The Candidate Forums are over. Every candidate acknowledged the same serious challenges facing our city.

But here’s the real question: Who actually has the courage and fresh perspective to fix them? Who has the independence from developers and other special interests? I have not knowingly accepted funds from developers or any other special interest. My sole purpose is to continue to live and experience the Naples, I’ve grown to love.

Some candidates are the very same elected officials who helped create this mess through years of inaction, excuses, and kicking the can down the road.

That stops now.
